Turns out that fusker's biggest sponsor is none other that Philip Kaplan (pud) from fuckedcompany.com

So, let's report a fuck - go here:

and report news that adbrite is going to end up in court because it supports hotlinkers.

After all, the report form is in the open and not protected by htaccess, so I am sure we can legallly access it as we like (otherwise he would have blocked it, no?)


Content producers: have you considered legal action? These sites use your content without license as a money making tool far beyond "fair use". Why hasn't anyone bothered to sue these dickwads?

I have complained about them before. Nothing happened.

It will take a content producer to lay paper on fusker and on the ad company to really make a difference. They have to know that this is not an acceptable business model.

Philip Kaplan, aka Pud just LOVES to invite legal action. He is the proverbial loose cannon on deck, and he rewards and encourages others to work on the edges of legality (and sometimes beyond it, IMHO).

Any content producers want something fun to try?

This issue has been covered more thoroughly on another board run by a greenguy.

On that board there are copies of emails from AdBrite that say Fusker operates within AdBrite's Terms of Service and that AVN Ads has an agreement to handle adult ads for AdBrite.

A web site run by the same guy (that I will refer to as asshole) who runs AdBrite has a picture section that contains a picture of this asshole with Halycon from FlashCash:

I use basically the same thing for my images except for the first rewrite condition which allows someone to enter the image's URL in their browser.

Thanks to Hal for resonding on another thread I started that asked if he and AVN supported hotlinking:
