BYOT = build your own tour right?

How does this work and the benefit of it is?

make your own tour, then people in whatever program the byot is in will promote it like a normal paysite. You make so much from each sale. Or that is how it used to be with ARS.

Lets use the old ARS as an example.
You build a paysite tour send it to ARS for approvel they add it to their portfolio of sites so everyone can promote it.
Say they pay $35 per signup on their regular sites. Then with the byot sites they only pay webmasters $30 per signup and then give the last $5 to the webmaster that designed the tour.

So if you build a tour that sells you can make a lot of money. Some of the best stilling tours made over 100 sales a day consistently over several months. Not bad for designing a tour.

Yeah I think thats the way it works.
But remember ARS had thousands of active webmasters so it was easier to get people to try out the tours ofcause the bigger the program the better.

yep, if I remember correctly Tootie was doing pretty good with some BYOTs on ars. I remember getting some good SE sales to papa hymens

Best selling byot ever for months it was in the top 5 over all of their top selling sites.
I remember her saying one day she got a sale every 5 minutes :)

I did 1:300-400 consistently on tgp traffic and at $30 a sale it was good times :)

I don´t think the success of the first ARS BYOT program can be done again.
The timing were perfect still $30 per sale and I think they had the most webmasters of any program when they rolled it out.
To bad it didn´t last :(

Well, I was an owner, so I only got $5 per sale. And of course I didn't get a sale every 5 minutes 24 hours a day. But there were occasional days when I'd get a signup about every 5 minutes for several hours. Man, those were the days. :(

Do you guys do pretty decent volume with the AVP sites? When I had one when AVP was with ARS it did almost nothing at all, very slow. I'd love to try to find time to give it a try again if the volume is halfway decent :)

i got an email today which said ARS is bringing back the BYOTs.....

With trials the volume will ramp up big time.
