Yeah. BUSH fucking with your freedom.

Bansheelinks 03-16-2005 08:41 PM

fucking fascism by censorship

After Shock Media 03-16-2005 08:46 PM

Ok I despise Bush but I refuse to put all blame on him for as much shit as he gets.
Face it our leaders are in a bubble and listen to what is tube fed to them through this bubble. The only people to blame for pushing some much censorship and obscenity issues onto the public is the public. Now it may not be the majority, it is a very focused and very organized set of minority groups that understand how to work the system and get what they want in front of the senate or congress.
It literally is up to the people to make sure such shit never happens and for the people to stop allowing small minority groups to speak for the nation.

Where the fuck does this Senator buy his crack???

"Brownback also claimed that half of all pay-per-view movies in hotels are pornographic and that pornography is now the cause of nearly half the divorces in America. But he added that ?porn had an almost non-existent role in divorce just seven or eight years ago.?

What the fuck is this guy talking about???

if they think this will fly with voters, they are in for a great big fucking shock.

even the republican fucktart religious right wants its porn and violent action. why do you think those PPV porn channels rake it in, and the channels that feature violent action movies as part of their movie packages, such as HBO, Showtime, Starz, etc?

i hate the religious right in this country. a bunch of fascists gettting drunk with power. fuck 'em.

Where does it start? Congressional commitees on television violence go back to the 1950s.

A Democrat and a Republican sponsored this particular bill. We almost had Lieberman for VP two elections ago. "Television violence" is one of his major issues. He was complaining about it back in the 90s. There were Judicial committees on television violence in the 90's too. Good ol' Orrin Hatch was involved with that.

You can't win with these two parties. You want freedom? Vote libertarian.

This has been Brownback's pet issue for a long time. He and Lieberman were buddies on it in the 90s.

So after they pass something people don't like do you think 49% of the voters will vote against them? :glugglug

this is the best out of the whole article:

?Government has a compelling and real-life interest in the matter because of porn?s adverse effects on individuals, families and communities in the form of criminality and addiction."

someone please tell me the last time you saw someone rob a store for a porn magazine or the last time you heard of someone shoplifiting a vibrator. better yet, someone tell me the last time a penis pump was traded for heroin or a bank was robbed so someone could pay for a playboy.

lol this was good for a laugh.
