Is George Carlin Still A Good Live Performer ??
 

I'm gonna be seeing George Carlin on Friday, but was just wondering if anyone has seen his show lately because I recently watched "Complaints & Grievences" and thought that it was pretty bad, I really only laughed once in the whole show. It was from an HBO special 4 years ago though, so I wonder if he's gotten any better. He used to be hilarious back in the older days, but I just hope those days aren't behind him.

He was great., But I have not seen him in some time either.

But with all the shit going on now in the world. he should have a pretty good show.

I haven't seen him lately either, but in the past, he's made me laugh so hard I think I pulled some stomach muscles.

Chris Rock - now hes fucking funny

I almost shit my boxers listening to him. LOL

i saw george carlin last summer, he was good although don't expect to see a lot of new material if you've watched most of his HBO specials.

how anyone could find chris rock funny is beyond me.

One of my all time favorite comedians..haven't seen him in awhile though

I can't stand listening to his voice long enough to see if he's funny. I hear him and I'm instantly tense. He's got some sort of whiney, nagging bitch thing going on.

I've seen him twice... glad I didn't have to make such sacrifices :upsidedow

his live show on like HBO or whatever was amazing, some of his best, still in his comedic prime!

I hope he's still good live. I'm supposed to go see him soon too. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate them. I'm sure that it's gonna be a great show. I'll be sure to post a thread on here on Saturday to let ya know how it goes. I'll try to sneak my camera in, but don't know if I'll be able to use it :) I have tickets in the 4th row, almost center, so it should be enjoyable.
