Ive been scammed twice, once a few years ago and once a couple months ago. Like an idiot the first time I sent a wire transfer, no way to get the money back. The second time (few months ago) i used epassport and i am fighting it with them, if i have to i will do a visa chargeback. Scammers suck and I bet it happens to almost all of us, if not all of us. So if it happened to you post here so others will not be scammed by the same company.

March 2003: Contacted by a company looking to sell me adult traffic for $600

Second and most recent case was with XP-Media some of you here know who that person is. Waited weeks for traffic, sent like 2K hits when i purchased 500K kept saying to wait we are working on it, then they disapeared.


If you have ever been scamed post here and help others from being scammed by the same person.

live and learn never send wire transfer to people you do not know or have not done business with for a long time. or that ius highly respected and recommended by others...

get written contracts, do your homework... and you will be less likely to be scammed too.

I don't know if I'd call it "scammed" but over the years we probably have about $20K as "uncollectable". Be it either thru bankruptcies, people just disappearing, or CC processors closing up shop.

Those eroticgiveaway idiots spammed me on icq and email for a year or so..fucking retards.

not 50k but worth mentioning :

- pixel-works : a designer who robbed a lotta guys, a real player, paid him, got my money back partially after calling his bank finding out hes broke as hell, tells amazing stories, tommy is his name, he left gfy and many other boards in shame, if you meet him : run

- ipasak/martin/nichecontentguru : a content provider, hes still around, spams the boards, shoots complete shit, do a search and youll find out, crap communications, still got $500 worth of clothes, called our models to quit posing etc etc, a loser, even the $2 pics arent worth the shit hes pulling afterwards

- webasic : designer, also known as potent mind, ripped quite a few off, posts with new nicks here great deals $250 for a complete paysite design and then vanishes. Still owes us money and design, called his lawyer and told us stfu and dissapeared. http://www.webasic.com

I got scammed by gfy nick: slipkid aka Chris from Limelightgirls.com

He convinced me that it would be in my companies best interest (Modelgig.com) to merge with his company and put the modelgig.com domain name "under his corporate umbrella".
There is a lot more to it, but to make the long story short, he locked me out of the admin of my own site and took it over. I never got a penny for it.
Scammer extraordinaire. I started that company 3 years ago, worked hard on it, brought it up to a Google PR5 etc.
Now its gone. I have been giving him a chance to make good on it, but he is not, so there will be litigation soon.

Hey I don't know if I agree with that one. I may have been a little careless with a couple hundred dollars over the years but that kind of money you need contracts, and if the person scams you, you sue them and if they dissapear or go bankrupt you sic BigLou on them and beat it out of them. Get your money back one way or the other. Seriously, if that kind of money is coming out of my pocket, I am doing a lot of homework on the individual you have to pick those ventures carefully. Idealy with someone that has a lot of assets I can go after if they try to break the contract.

I would love to find them. That was 2 years ago and it still burns my ass. Don't care about the money,the principle. And the fact that the guy was a complete asshole. Nothing like scamming someone and insulting them at the same time. I would love to bump into this fool one day. :BangBang:

Mark Shae (?) and his girlfriend/wife Nancy scammed me for a few grand and then Mark killed himself and Nancy vanished. No joke.

EroticGiveaways...now, there's a blast from the past. I remember them calling my ex partner.....the deal never did sit well with me.....we didn't do it and thank goodness, because later we found out they were scammers.

Interesting idea! He never picks up my phonecalls. The company which he works for said that they would take care of it but they dont answer me also. They even signed the DHL docs when they picked up the minidv´s and no payment. :(

Yeah that was his bank. He used a MBE account too. I can dig that up, I know it was in the same area. I could never get his home address though :(

Payed this guy to built me a paysite script, payed him the cash and waited and waited, called him after a couple of weeks to find out what the problem was and as soon as he found out who I was he hung up.

Guy on here who posts under K-Rock who said his name was Rick Kidd (no relation to me of course) contacted me about doing some program promo. Took my $375 paypal and vanished. I disputed and got it right back though.

Went down for a couple 100 bucks with some guy named Juggalo in May 2003.

We were scammed by jaYMan, does that qualify? He promised Arika a bunch of shit then we found out he was full of shit. Go on over to his board and do a search for Abi18. Gosh, i wonder why that didn't work out?
