Does it make me petty for winning a contest on here befor xmas and being kind of pissed that they "forgot" to ship it for a month, and then when I asked about it they said it would be shipped the next day, and now almost a month later I cant even get ahold of them.

Not at all, seeing as they started the contest at GFY's expense in hopes of gaining webmasters or traffic I am assuming, fuck them, were's my shit!!

I mean I'm in no rush, but I have waited and waited, and was even going to put in an oder worth a few grand... but I dont know now if they cant even deliver in an unreasonable amount of time over a small contest, they cant even respond to my contacting them.

Actually no. I think that someone even spoke to lens about the people that offer things, and then dont pay out. Send an e-mail about it to the GFY team, PROVIDING you have TRIED EVERYWAY to CONTACT the company in question.

Im sick of the SCAMMERS... lets get em !

I'm not sure if I'd be pissed off or not, but I know I'd never do biz with that company.. IMHO, if you win a contest, it's the same as having paid cash up front.

I won a contest on here for something.. business networking tips, I think. WebInc was the sponsor.

They busted their collective asses providing me with the prize. Treated me like a VIP customer. Was in contact with the sales person, client services, and the production department (not sure what their departments are called - off the top of my head).

Constant communication, samples of the work in progress, and the option to change anything I wanted after delivery. Didn't change a thing.

The prize was 100 animated banners in various sizes. Worth $699.00 at today's prices.
