Trade Show Energy Levels
Okay, with the Phoenix Forum almost upon us, how do you keep your energy levels up to keep on going?
|
RedBull - Redbull - Redbull
|
Lee!!! How's it going? I haven't talked to you since I worked at the big "O". How ya been?
|
Don. Since I can't stand Redbull...sorry...I may be the only webmaster alive that doesn't depend on it....
I drink lots of orange juice and water in the morning with my coffee...and then I switch to bloody mary's, spicy kind....and kind of sip them all day....later on, I might switch to cosmopolitans or vodka with tonic and lime...and maintain a pleasant buzz..... Energy levels..well....if you keep putting one foot in front of the other, your energy levels will follow you! |

I just was in Vegas this week for a mainstream biz show and here is my list to keep your game tight.
1. "floor" Time management - Set appointments, meetings and face to face chat time. 2. Naps - after working the floor and crusing the show, break back in the afternoon for a nap. 3. Eat - Dont just live on booze and coffee. Good meals do a wonder at a show for you 4. Sleep - Set aside a few hours dedicated for sleeping. Anyone's that been to Vegas for a show can attest that you can really stay up for 3 days there no problem, lol... 5. Space - Set some time to just hang in your room, catch up on emails and make the calls that you need to make, Review your days' notes, plan for the next day and the like. Having a plan for the day and objectives to reach will make the most of your time there and having space for downtime makes the uptime that much more productive to see a return on the investment spent. Have a good show and take lots of cards. :) |
Take time out to have a nice long shit, that'll keep you feeling great!
