Robert Blake and O.J. Simpson To Star In Fox's TV Remake of The Odd Couple
Robert Blake and O.J. Simpson will take on the roles of Felix Unger and Oscar Madison in Fox Television's remake of a television classic, The Odd Couple. In previous incarnations, including Neil Simon's Broadway play and ABC Television's long running series starring Jack Klugman and Tony Randall, Madison was a slovenly cigar smoking sports writer and Randall some kind of effeminite hypochondriac. In this latest adaptation Simpson will play Madison, a slovenly cigar chomping wife killer, while Blake will take on the role of Felix Unger, an effeminate hypchondriachal wife killer.
