EU sales tax cometh..
 

The European Union is a fair way down the road towards requiring companies outside the EU to account for EU VAT (sales tax) on digital content sold into the Union - this affects you if you're running a paysite. And it's nearly time for the next one. We've had quite a lot on, what with the situation with AT&T in the US, development of the new dialer (and the new new dialer, but that's still a secret), building our new data center, etc. - doesn't leave much time for hanging around on the boards..

I would be interested to know just how the EU expects to enforce it's sales tax regulations on companies outside it's jurisdiction who don't ship anything physical into their jurisdiction..

Fat chance is my prediction. ;>

they want to Make you pay Sales tax on anything you buy out of state even if you paid another states sales Tax
