blogs geared toward surfers who want to be webmasters
 

any thoughts? i know there's going to be a lot of people talking shit about why bring in more competition, blah blah blah.. but here's my logic.

i figure they are interested already. i might as well scoop up the referrals in case they actually succeed, but since 99% of them probably won't, how much competition will this really create?

i'm also going to use the site to slip links to all the paysites i'm talking about anyway so the frustrated ones who just don't get it may end up joining. i will also of course list all my own sites too.

so, does anyone have anything like this setup and want to trade links?

let sufers pose as wanna be webmasters. the great thing is that webmasters are jumping on this and they know far more on how the game works. so in the end, webmasters win and sufers will eventually give up.

Ah, now I got it. Well.. You would have to pump a lot of surfers to that blog and make the design kinda "bling bling"

You would only be losing money. Bad idea IMO. Now if you did a "work at home" blog that would be a little different since those people already have some sort of idea of what its all about.

good idea, but how could i lose money? there's nothing invested but a little time. and if i get lucky and one actually succeeds i make referral cash. plus, like i said i already have links up to paysites and my own network of free sites.

It would cost you more to host the site than you would make off revenue from the sales your surfers would get. Assuming you get 50,000 hits a day which is decent for a blog giving out porn you need to keep in mind that these guys aren't visiting your site so they can earn cash. They are coming to the site because they want as much free porn as they can get so they can go beat off to whatever content you give them. You would make more putting up some really good teaser pics/vids then offering them the paysite than buy getting 5% of what they would make.

if i could remember that god damn sponsor that was posting on here with a program to set people up with their own adult site for a per month fee, i might do a little of this!!!!!!!!!

find that sponsor and let us know man.

no. fuck all that noise. i'm not going to be trading tgp traffic into my blog. this is why i'm looking for other sites set up to do this to trade with and will work the se's with it.. for surfers searching for things like 'start my own pornsite' make money with xxx' etc..

plus, i'll be linking my favorite sites from any given sponsor directly just in case they decide starting a site isn't for them but maybe jerking off is :winkwink:

Assume a surfer you refer is starting from scratch. No web designing experience at all.
You know how long it's going to be until they make their first sale?
And chances are, a sale they make won't be under you.

Be realistic. The majority of those you would attract at a blog like that are kids trying to make a quick buck. Few will stick with it, and even fewer will succeed.

Assume your blog really interests 200 people, and those 200 people want to start making a living in adult. I'd say by the next day half of them are going to wake up the next morning and find that they really don't want to do it. Out of those people, maybe half of them will actually stick with it and take the time to learn and everything, and maybe a handful of those will actually have what it takes to be successful in this business. Drive, detication.
