[help] Photoshop CS strange behaviour this morning

Hi all. I need help so I just check if one opf you ever got this problem...

I do the very same thing as usual, but this morning, PS really pisses me off...

When I use "save for the Web in Photoshop (Cs on a mac os X 10.3), it keeps giving me the images in GIF even if I ask him to give me JPG @ 65 quality...

I choose JPEG High in the settings and the image look like a gif in the previews windows, so I tried to choose the Original box (ist one) and it still gives me my slices in GIF...

I did restart the computer, tried almost everything before asking here... hehe

Thanks forward :thumbsup

I've had some many creepy probs with pscs. took the darn app off my machine. you try this though. put the files into a different fold. I had the experience of the folder some how being 'corrupted' don't ask how, I have no idea. I just know after uninstalling ps and clearing the registry, the reloading the app twice I had e the same prob until I used a different folder. regards, bmb

first of all, I don't know why you are slicing the files in photoshop and not with Image Ready, however, if you do all that and you are still getting a dithered preview, check out the "preview menu" (should be a round button with an arrow on it, in the upper right corner) and uncheck the "browser dither" option. If its not checked, then I have no idea what else it is that you are doing wrong. :upsidedow

try removing all slices and reslice
