collegeboyslive 03-16-2005 08:12 AM

maybe you put that page together quickly just to show your rates but you must remember that it is upon these pages that a web designer is graded. if your page looks bland and boring then people will think that is what you will produce for them.

your site is your front window to the world, if its borning and bland perople will shop elsewhere

dij 03-16-2005 08:25 AM

prices are too high for that level of quality.

MandyBlake 03-16-2005 08:43 AM

most people...even with no experience, could do those type of designs themselves.

CoreAdult-Dee 03-16-2005 08:44 AM

"All Prices $100 U.S." makes no sense. I think you mean "All prices are in U.S. dollars"

Khun 03-16-2005 08:53 AM

Not to be harsh, but its a piece of shit. You say your are graphic designers and you would actually show THAT to potential customers? I say go back community college and take a few more classes in design. Marketing wouldnt hurt either.

tre sandman 03-16-2005 09:21 AM

thanks for the posts guys!! we really got a lot to learn... :( anyways, we gonna do some revisons now.. hope we could get to the level were we could do business with you guys.. :)

loverboy 03-16-2005 09:24 AM

you'ved got to work more on your marketing strategy before you earn
big bucks. its not an overnight work, it will surely take sometime but
the idea is you learn from every move/mistake you make. goodluck!

nastysam 03-16-2005 09:28 AM

I am sorry dude, it seem that nobody is interested, but modify it to see how it goes.

TheSenator 03-16-2005 09:30 AM

Go super heavy on design and graphics. Look around at other web & graphics designers' websites. Buy a domain name too. Apply for a merchant account. Hire a designer.

The Bootyologist 03-16-2005 09:32 AM

prices are on point

tre sandman 03-16-2005 09:51 AM

:thumbsup thaks for the reviews guys!!! now we have to do some revisions... :)

tre sandman 03-16-2005 11:49 AM

bump! bump!

warlock5 03-16-2005 12:02 PM

#1 you should have your own domain.. its less than $10 anyways.

Keep practicing. Your design should look good even without any layer effects. Colors & how they contrast are really important check out http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html

tre sandman 03-16-2005 10:51 PM

hmmm.....pips got no opinion at all... :(

Young 03-16-2005 10:54 PM

Better Font choices. Current fonts need anti-aliasing. Stop abusing the outlines on all of your text. Compress at higher quality. Research the color wheel and color combos...especially on the banners.

Free sites look good.

Barefootsies 03-16-2005 10:58 PM

Not to fuel the fire, but that site's crap. I wouldn't buy from it. Looks like one of the first I did years ago, and I did not even know HTML.

That being said, your prices are a tad high, but your graphics are very good all considered. Page layouts are fairly generic by the industry standards, but work good for the newbies.

I'd say you have some of the pieces of the puzzle, and need some tweaks is all. For designers, you need a kick ass page, and url. Not some slop. Even if your pages we average, a kick ass website can say a lot for your talent, skill levels, and professionalism.

Work on the tweaks, and you are off to da races.

:thumbsup

I agree in a way.

I'm most impressed by the designers with nice clean websites with alot of white space. But kick ass portfolios that really show their talent.

no problem. Why not spend the extra couple of bucks and register a domain name and get some space on the web?

work on your color selection and font selection and you'll be well on your way.

tre sandman 03-16-2005 11:10 PM

is this a fucking joke?

it is a smack in the face to real designers to have wannabe designers think they can "design".

Alex 03-21-2005 12:17 PM

3 fucking people in your "Team"

And you cant all pitch in $3 for a domain.

Quit now

tre sandman 03-22-2005 11:40 AM

was this part of a contest to see how many fonts you can use on one design?

foxxx 03-22-2005 04:38 PM

yeah your designs look pretty shit, but dont be discouraged, try and try again...

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 03-22-2005 04:42 PM

Your going to fail more than suceed bro.

Good luck, but ya better think carefully before deciding you love and want to design. Practice practice practice an art that is never mastered.

Its not the greatest job in this biz by far.
