I have something like 800 DVD's.. I want to burn 5 or more on 1 DVD+RW and watch them on my laptop. Some programs are fast ( dvd shrink, xmpeg ) but have audio sync issues. Auto Gordian Knot is too damn slow, but might work. Still waiting on it to finish.

I used dvd shrink, it was fast.. but I still ended up with about 4GB space used. An AVI would be preferable, to save space. I'd rather have it down to about 400MB to 800MB

I have been looking for something for some time as well.

FlaskMPEG.

Search google for frameserving.
There is no ONE solution for sync issues, every DVD title is different. Also, make sure you've got a fast processor and a good amount of ram. |

TMPGEnc with TOOLAME mp2 encoder set as an external encoder will solve audio sync issues, as well as speed up the rip by as much as 30-40% :thumbsup
(you need to install TooLame on your machine, and specify that TMPGEnc use it as an EXTERNAL encoder in the preferences) Thank me later :D |
thanks Lens, will try that after AutoGK finishes and fails (if it does).
facial, How do you get from DVD to TMPGEnc ? |
