been looking at this idiot's posts recently and wondering - who exactly is this fool?

does anyone know who it is or what he/she does?

amp does high end - that page seriously sucked. - and that's from someone who knows (profitability high traffic wise)

well it's different from normal webpage design, I think it looks nice and fancy but would probably suck when it comes to useability. Amp's stuff is excellent.

I've asked this before and never received an answer... who has he designed for? I've never seen his "style" anywhere.

That is one aspect I love about this business, the competition. Most people are just amateurs and bad business people who think they know it all. They go around making slip up after slip up, and in a year or two they wonder why they're making less or no money.

Alien's been around for years and years. I believe he worked for CE at some point and time, maybe even Netpond? He comes out with some real doozies most of the time, but he's relatively harmless :)

I am opinionated and expressive and yes very passionate about what I think.

SOme of ya may not like me, the folks I am cool with though know for fact that I am helpful give great advice and maybe even cool to operate with. Thefolks that I am cool with would know that I am loyal to the grave. I do not steal from people, I run a honest design biz and I do take pride in everything I design. I love design. I admit I am difficult sometimes I know I am, but thats just me being me.

After 10 years in this business I really only have a few friends. Mostly through the 10 years I have been robbed scammed or removed from a deal. Its made me hard and cold for the most part no thanks to an industry that continues to not only become less profitable but progressively populate itself with dumber and dumber people.

Alien may be opinionated, but I think the same can be said for a couple of us . . . . present company included.

As far as the design of his home page. I am not sure how you can make a decision about the profitabilty aspect. It isn't a TGP gallery, or a paysite tour. He isn't trying to sell something to surfers, his target is webmasters.

I have a cold, so am not feeling on the top of the world right now, but my opinion (and apparently that of several well known programs) is that he does some pretty damn good work,

He may do good design sometimes, but his typefaces are hard to read. Not enough contrast. Alien, post your smaller advert here?

Since Mark does some work for me.. I will say this.

First off.. He is VERY talented. (regardless of what anyone thinks)

When he designs for me, he takes great passion to make sure everything looks just perfect.

Some of the coolest shit that came out of PornDollar has a lot of great input from Mark. Matter of fact, I bounce idea's off of Mark any chance I get.

Also.. He is contracted for 20 more sites.

The way that Mark is when he works with me, is nothing like he is on the boards.

He has been around a long time, has a unique view of the industry..

He is not always right, and might takes some things to seriously..

But all in all.. He's honest, hard working, and I call him a friend.

Mark AKA AlienQ is a great guy when you get to know him.. I met Alien back in 99 or so, he got me going in my designs and I still to this day thank him for what he did for me back then. A lot of people only know his board personality and don't know how to take him and talk shit, yet I can remember a few times where people have said the same shit about a few people here that are saying AlienQ who?? and what a fucking tard.

He does great work and the people that I see here that don't have nice things to say about him don't have an ounce of talent to match up to him. :2 cents:

People who matter to you, or to the industry? I think the dude has some great talent. He has passion, it's like you want GFY to be you and Juicy and then a bunch of mindless sheep.
