I'm not sure who here has been following my progress or seen my threads... but i'm 18.... been living on my own since and supporting myself since 16.... so this whole situation has put a big fucking dent in my current living..... Initially i had a model named Julia who i was supposed to do a solo site with.... then last minute she backed out and referred her friend mandy.....everything was great, she agreed to do a SOLO SITE remember... this is very important.. she agreed to do a SOLO SITE...
so i get all my shit together.... i buy all the equipment....
lights - 1600 dollars
mini dv camera - 1300
Canon rebel - 700
so... so far before i start shooting the costs are 3600.... Now... i know she does webcamming.. and i don't want to come off as a snake.. so i talk to her camming boss... and ask his permission to shoot her... he said he was cool with it.. AS LONG AS I DIDN'T STEAL HER FOR WEB CAMMING i agreed... and said if i find girls for camming i would refer him to him.... and if he found girls for shooting he would refer them to me... he said that after my first shoot with mandy if everything went okay that he would let his other models know that do camming for him that they should come do shoots with me
and that is steve from www.adultwebcamworld.com who i talked to.... known on icq as "huey"...
now... everything is going cool.... i meet mandy for the first shoot.... at a hotel....
so now the costs are 350 for hotel and 20 bucks for her taxi ride there.... she gets there... everything is going great... i told her she can bring her friend with her (makeup artist) and i would pay her for doing her makeup... (to be nice) .... now i also pay a photographer 200 for the day to be there....
im having a nice time just sitting on the couch chatting with her friend while the photo guy and her are doing the shoot...also ordered them food to eat..... now im saying all these details so everyone knows every single aspect of what has happened to date....
the shoot goes great, i get along with everyone.. everything is fine....and we schedule another shoot for the coming friday, since she can only shoot on fridays because of school.....
now during this shoot...she kept going on about how her ex boyfriend ben could hook up a cheaper NICER hotel for next shoot... i didn't pay it much attention but she mentioned it a lot.... so i took down his number
i call him right before the NEXT shoot the friday after... and im like hey i need a room blah blah blah.. he sets it up.... everything is done... now he calls me 20 minutes after... and is like hey... do u mind if me and mandy keep the room after the shoot... and im like yah shouldn't be a problem....
now we didnt get to the hotel till about 5pm... a little later then scheduled....and her ex boyfriend the one that hooked up the room is IN the room... so i think to myself.. should be okay so long as he doesnt get in the way.... ( BIG MISTAKE ) .... i mention to him that my photographer lives 5 hours drive away and is gonna need to keep the room sorry.... and hes like okay... i go in the other room... to help my photographer set up his equipment.... and i hear a bunch of bitching in the other room coming from mandy, her makeup artist friend... and ex boyfriend.... i had a feeling they were talking about me... but didn't think they would be rude enough as to be talking shit about someone while they are so close... so i go in to see what the problem is... and they are all ganging up on me about the room and it being part of the deal... and are being extremely rude about it.. though i wanted to punch out her boyfriend... i hid it and was like alright cool... u guys can keep the room..... even though it wasnt aprt of the deal...
now her boyfriend is a 31 year old loser who is in a punk band... and hes sitting on the table rolling joints and smoking them in the room.... now do u see why i wouldn't want to be letting him keep the room in the first place? lol... but anyways i was like okay .. photographer can crash at my house tonight... enjoy the room.... i was even nice enough to pay her makeup artist 160 for makeup .. even though im sure mandy could have done it herself and looked the same...
now at this point... mandy already knows that i am doing a solo site... and that i need her every possible day shes free to shoot content.. but since she goes to school... we agreed on every friday.....
nearing the end of the shoot... she mentions something about lightspeed... im like wtf? so i go home and talk to lightspeed steve... and hes like... "what? she has a site coming up? i cant use her then..." .... and then i come home to my icq filled with messages from her camming boss... and the model on MSN.... saying i fucked them over blah blah blah....
the model was FREAKING out.... saying i fucked her over and that she didn't know it was for a solo site.... (bullshit... 2 fulls days of shooting and scheduling every free day she has to shoot) ... now im wondering if her camming boss made the deal with lightspeed after i already had a deal with the model....
either way discussions start happening so that i will sell it to them, since i have no option because the model wouldn't want to shoot with me now that she knows of lightspeed and how much money they would give her...
and they say... 2500 ....
and at this point i have this invested
3600 in equipment....
850 for the model
160+80 for makeup to her friend...
300+150 for the hotel rooms
misc food taxis etc for the model
400 webdesign
another 300 webdesign
150 dedicated server etc
plus roughly 30-35 hours of my time...
so obviously i say no....
and they are like... okay we wont use her.... then i talk to the model... and shes RAGING....
lightspeed repeatedly tells me to work it out with the camming bosses from www.adultwebcamworld.com and that he hopes to hear that we come to a resolution where i don't feel fucked...
now i understand that i didnt have an exclusive contract with the model..... but its just about ethics.... and whats right... and i think they know that... thats why they try to resolve it..
however i keep getting put off daily by the guys.... and keep getting told tomorrow... tomorrow... tomorrow... etc... then finally we start talking...
and they are like... we are firm on 2500.... a day or so later... we negotiate some more...
and they are like 3500 and you have to sign a non disclosure agreement so u cant say "we stole the model" ....and to me thats unfair.. and i ask for 4000..... and then they retract it altogether.... and im like wtf? u are retracting an offer midway through negotiating? and they are like... "we will suggest to mandy that she work with you" ... yah my ass... there is no way in hell she would work with me after lightspeed has offered his this much money and then told her im the reason they wont use her...
either way.. i feel fucked..... some of you know how hard i have worked for this shit... and this is gonna hurt me financially a lot... but i have run into some luck because of this... i have met a great group of people who have offered to help me out with some content and ideas for paysites etc.... now i am just posting this so u guys dont make the same mistakes i did...

now i know this could very well be the end of me on gfy from all the bashing im going to get... but i want to say thanks to all the people who have helped me along the way.. and i am going to keep trying to succeed... and have decided to purchase some content from aaronM to launch a paysite... but now im kinda fucked for site design and traffic and that kind of stuff since i was relying a lot on some of that money for the mandy site....
i have a site made for her... but only 26 sets of photos and 6 short vids... if anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it... im kinda stuck.... should i just launch the site and offer a lifetime membership or soemthing since i cant update it or? .... i know i can give the content toa content store but i kinda need the return fast then that...
