Best way to backup dedicated server?
 

I was suprised to find out today that my dedicated box at ISPrime does not come automatically with any automatic backup for the harddrive. Obviously a HD failure would be catastrophic with no backup. I'm checking with them for the paid backup options but wondering what others here do for their servers...

Hire a 3rd party server admin for like $50 a month and have them do weekly backups

I have more than 10 servers to backup, more than 500gigs of data. What I do is I have 2 servers just for backups, and I do automatic daily backups with rsync, this is very easy, simply command like this:

rsync --progress -pogave yourhost.com:/ /local-dir-holding-backups
