The GPS unit on my cellphone is now deactivated
 

I accidentally washed my mobile phone last week and pretty much ruined it...so I called sprint and wanted them to replace it...they wanted a $50 deductible for a new phone, and being the cheap bitch I was I told them to fuck themselves...why do I pay for equipment replacement?

anyway, i thought, if I washed it and broke it, why not throw it in the dryer and see if that fixes it...seems logical, right?....sure enough, after a 60 minute cycle on high, it works again, minus the backlight...haha

here is the catch, every time I start the phone up, it tells me that the GPS locator is non-functional

so, now, if I call 911 and I can't talk, they can't find me....but if I do something illegal and run from the law I can use my phone with no worries...haha

i guess i will just get a new phone

Mine swam in an icey ditch when I buried my snowmobile 3 ft deep in water. I still cant get it to work.

Also, if you get kidnapped or killed Gil Grissom will have a harder time finding you.

Does that include roaming?

But I agree why do we pay replacement fees when you have to pay for another one.. gesssh.

There are so many nerw phones on the market, it is amazing. I would just get a new one.
