ccbill.. what the fuck????!!!!!
Why the hell did ccbill change their affiliate/re-direction script and why didn't I get any warning of the change?!?! It fucks up my system and looks ugly as hell having a mile long ccbill query string on the end of my url!
Anyone else notice it? Anyone else affected by it?? |
Should they run everything by you first?
|
Err.. yes of course when it directly affects my affiliate program and all the webmasters that use it!
It would be kinda nice of them to actually tell ALL webmasters before making such changes as it can cause serious fucking problems! I mean its common fucking sense! |

Also fucks up existing query strings for those webmasters that use them..

did you and your 27 posts try to take care of this in an email or did you think it was better to publically bite the hand that feeds you?
|
3 posts actually, 4 with this one and only one thread - why is that a problem? I'm not supposed to reply to posts in the thread I started?
yes I did ask them about it and basically they said tough - 'sorry for the inconvenience' etc. I still can't find any mention of the change in the docs and they didn't send any warning which is the least they could have done. For webmasters that used their own query strings they will now see something like.. domain.com/?their query string?ccbill query string Think its more a case of ccbill biting the hand that feeds them. |
