Hi all according to you what makes the difference to get a site to the 1st spot from the 8-10th spots, backlinks especially???

Quality backlinks are important.

But, it's not necessarily a good thing to be #1 spot if you care about conversion rates.

The top couple positions are clicked by most surfers.

The deeper listings (even as far as #900) can convert better because anyone that goes that far is looking hard (and qualified).

Well text anchor is for sure important for backlinks and exchanging with same categories would make a difference, there still in SEO yo :1orglaugh
