Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; Seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come" |
It is funny how he made that a famous day of omens. When in all actuality, Ides refers to a day in every month, the 15th of March, May, July, and October, in the remaining months it is the 13th, based on the earliest Roman calendar. Hope that doesn't spoil the mysticism for you on that most famous quote.
