How much do you pay for dedicate servers ....?
How much do you pay for dedicate servers ....?
I buy Dual Xeon 2.4Ghz /2048 Mb /2 x7 120 Gb 25 Mbps Unmetered I pay $700 per month. and Celeron 2.4 GHz /1024 Mb 80 Gb for $400 for this server. My servers connected to 23 various backbones, and I have 100% uptime ! http://pqcservice.net/ How do you think If I have best relation "price/ quality" ? |
thanks Shein, Vadim
but you dont have to hide and spam, here i believe you can just shout our your deals :thumbsup |
How? I think that sounds like spam.
|
65$/month for 1000gb bandwidth
|
Webair can beat your price any day I bet.
:winkwink: |

This server cost $400 with 100% uptime ! ! ! http://www.britishcoeds.com/mrtg/ |

|

Newb. |
why pay? i keep changing companies when they bill is coming
|
I have paid anywhere from $150 to $1000 dollars for my dedicated servers. But then I own them and only pay co-location fees.
Now Pretty Lara your jumping on someone else for spamming his shit when thats exactly what you were doing. You are simply paying a reseller of the planet money for hosting. Although you may be getting a good deal because he probably offers you tech support. And talking about your 23 different backbones. Please don't read all the shit you hear and check this part of it out. Your 23 different backbones are nothing more than 3 or 4 providers being resold to 23 other people. |
not only cogent, only 2 cogent from 23 using backbones:
AboveNet #1 (1Gbps) AboveNet #2 (1Gbps) AboveNet #3 (1Gbps) Broadwing (1Gbps) nLayer (1Gbps) AT&T #1 (1Gbps) AT&T #2 (1Gbps) AT&T #3 (1Gbps) Global Crossing #1 (1Gbps) Global Crossing #2 (1Gbps) Level3 #1 (1Gbps) Level3 #2 (1Gbps) Level3 #3 (1Gbps) Sprint #1 (1Gbps) Sprint #2 (1Gbps) Time Warner (1Gbps) UUNET (1Gbps) Verio #1 (1Gbps) Verio #2 (1Gbps) Dallas Public Peering #1 (1Gbps) Cogent #1 (1Gbps) Cogent #2 (1Gbps) |
Oh shit I missed the 100% uptime part. .... Lets get this straight ... NO HOST can guarantee 100% uptime.
It's physically impossible. Even the people that pay top dollar for all the redundancy they can get has downtime. It's a fact. Just like police when they go to work they sometimes get shot at. If you run an online business then you WILL have some downtime sometime. Just because it hasn't happened yet, it will eventually. |
with so much info about hosting i have started doubting you are pretty Lara.....show us a pic

Mr JFPdude I can show screen shot with 23 backbones, and ask owner of famous pay site here but why ...? just
see man who paying 400$ for 20m Unmetered Bandwidth. http://www.crazyholes.com/mrtg/ http://www.wild-teenz.com/mrtg/ |

Then I challenge you to list the 23 different backbones. In fact I will pay you $50 dollars to list 23 backbones theplanet is connected to. But before you start you should look up what a backbone is. Yes you may have 23 different connections but those are not 23 different backbones. |
ok JFPdude 23 different connections with 12 different providers ....
|
See now we are getting closer to the truth.
Now of the 12 different providers it's only actually 5 different backbones. With so many people getting ripped off by hosting companies it's a lot better to tell the truth than throw a bunch of hype into it. If a reseller is a reseller say so. You may still sell the account because you may offer different services than your upline provider. But all this hype turning into lies actually makes the host look worse. Which is not good for business. |
I am not lying I show my page in my first message .....so you can see all my connections if I say backbones I mean connections and I show here all of them ...
you any seems beat my price for 23 CONNECTIONS. |
that a ripoff

Instead of fixing this you'd rather keep fixing your words. This leads me to believe 2 things: 1. You have no clue what you are talking about. So why would I want to host with you. or 2. You have to lie to get sales. So again why would I want to host with you. Also the backbones and providers you have listed above shows a lot of cogent in the mix. Is most of this going in or out of your servers? I have just completed some traceroute in and out from the planet. Be very careful of your answers. $50 says that it's mostly cogent going out and mostly Global Crossing going in. Does this matter? Yes. Many hosts do this as a sales tactic. They claim to have only Level3 bandwidth and if you traceroute to them all you will see is Level3 However traceroute out from them (you can only do this from thier equipment so you must have an account with them or some kind of access) and sometimes you find all cogent. (unless you have bgp4 access and you can trace them that way) Why do they do this? $$$$$$$$$$$ It looks better to customers buying the product to have a good brand coming in .... It's more profitable to send all the traffic out using a lesser brand. How often do hosts get caught doing this? Not often because nobody gives it a second thought. They all believe ok my host uses opnly Level3 so I'm good. |
hey fruitcake. your with ThePlanet.
They have different carriers but not 23 of them. Why you trying to make this sound like you have a pimpin deal? shut the fuck up. panzy ass. |
