I am in the process of putting instructions in my will...at the moment they will go to a friend that was the first to tell me how to get into the industry. I will change that if I ever get married again or have kids, etc.

Reality is a bitch but it needs to be done.

Well we sorted out a bunch of legal stuff last week and it all got witnessed by a notary earlier today so in my instance that would be right ;)

Feel free to put either of us in your will to Mike ;)

Its scary the amount of people who dont actually think about this type of long term stuff.

Same with making sure you are financially able to live after you reach a certain age, i bet 80% or more of GFY'ers dont even have a pension plan in place.

I just make sure the scripts keep updating until its out of content and the money wiill keep getting deposited into my accounts for the family

Seems to me sooner or later after you die:

the credit card bill is not going to be paid,
no one will be answering your emails,
so you'll lose access to your server,
so the checks will stop coming,
and the business will die.

Well i know my business will continue to run even after i croak.

Thats what i mean though, not many people give much thought to whats going to happen to their business when they die, i know i hate to think of a million dollar business going to waste because i die so i did something about it.

Hmmm... I'll probably sell the sites to another webmaster for a pitiful amount of money, or if I win the lottery, I will simply give them away to someone that has been nice to me on GFY :Graucho
