Alternatives to run ICQ under
 

My ICQ seems to mess up all the time, I heard some bad words about trillian too, what other tools could you use for ICQ/MSN ?

Some people use this thing called GFY to pass messages back and forth... don't know how well that works for them though.

I use Trillian, no problems.

Someone mentioned miranda to me but I have not checked it out yet

I am using PSI (http://psi.affinix.com). This is jabber client, but with some transport it can be ICQ, MSN, YIM client too. The best one. I really like it!

I use trillian pro with no problems, but I've also used miranda and it was pretty cool, and a VERY low memory use....

Miranda is working pretty good, using it for a few weeks now as icq sucks lately

out of the 3 plus years I have used Trillian I have had it crash on me maybe 3 times.

So could say I never have problems with it. I give it :thumbsup :thumbsup
