Ok only if your bored, im working on this essay and i am really stuck..

"why should you shop at a local store rather than amazon.com"

I mean its a "compare and contract" essay. How is shopping at a local store different than shopping at amazon.com

how about:
instant gratification- you don't have to wait for your items to be shipped to you
personalized attention- you can get all of your questions answered while you're there instead of having to do additional research

and for the contrast you're going to pay a premium at the local store because they don't have the volume discounts like amazon. and they also do not have the range of products that amazon does.

Many times you know and trust the people from whom you are purchasing locally, especially if you're buying from a mom and pop joint. The trust factor goes a long way.
