(The above special allowance will be deducted from the salaries in Mar, 05)

Prepayment of USD 1000 for each follow month;

1) Dec, 04
2) Jan, 05
3) Jan, 05 (Double pay)
4) Feb, 05

(The above prepayment also will be deducted from the salaries started from Apr, 05 with USD 1000 each month (4 months)

After 31 Jan, 05 onwards;

Basic salary=USD 5459 each month
Actual salary=USD 5186 each month (after MPF deduction)

Also, your letter says Mr. Tom Chan but then later it says for HER fathers sickness?

There's probably more mistakes and a better way to word the whole thing but I'm not that motivated. Good luck.

This letter is to certify that Mr. Tom Chan was employed by our firm from August 1, 2004 through January 31, 2005 at the gross monthly salary of $ 5150.00 USD, which after MPF deductions was $ 4893.00 USD net.

During his father's sickness in the month of November 2004, we had a special advance of $1000.00 USD which is to be repaid from deductions of the March 2005 salary.

Advances of $1000.00 USD were given also for the below-mentioned months:

1) Dec, 04
2) Jan, 05
3) Jan, 05 (Double pay)
4) Feb, 05

The above advances will start repayment by deductions on monthly salary starting April 2005 by $ 1000.00 USD for the 4 months following.

Confirmation of salary commencing February 1, 2005 is $5459.00 USD gross, which after MPF deductions totals $ 5186.00 USD.

BTW, this is assuming that your 'allowance' was really a loan or advance (if he has to pay you back)
