Watching Game of Death...Was Bruce Lee dead before this movie finished?
 

I haven't watched this movie since I was a kid and the photoshop job is horrible on this thing. Bruce Lee is speaking chinese while everybody else speaks english. What in the fuck is this? All I can really remember from childhood are the fight scenes.

I believe he died part way during filming. In the end fight scene you can obviously see it's a standin and the standin is no way as fast as Bruce.

Oh my god. I'm gonna have to fast forward to the fight part...this is garbage. They even have somebody else playing Kareems part in the beginning.

Fucking bad huh? I never noticed all the stand ins when I first saw that movie about 15 years ago. I just rewatched it a couple monts ago and oh man, its pretty. But still worth watching the fights!

If your a Bruce Lee fan, you should pick up the 2 disc special editon of Enter The Dragon. Disc 2 has many interviews, and it expliands alot of how he lived and died. Good shit!

They are hinting that he died after fucking his misteress and smoking some pot. According to one dude, he was allergic to pot and thats what caused his brain to swell and kill him. If thats true, thats pretty fucking sad.

And Ray, I didn't notice the standins either before. But now it sucked. The couple fight scenes were good. From what I remember, I didn't really like Enter The Dragon but it might be different now. I'll probably rent it tomorrow.

what happened was Bruce had a idea for The Game of Death. He only filmed the fight scene where he goes in the building and fights someone different on every floor. The rest was a rush job by the studio to cash in .
