that meal he ate that made him throw up.... that's the meal I usually get when I go there.
I think he's just a wimp cause of his girl's eating habits. |
His girl is kinda cute but annoying. She likes the top=)

hehe very good movie indeed

wasn't that a great movie?
|
I always pass by that movie at blockbuster...How can they make a whole movie about a dude eating for 30 days? I just didn't see how it could be done so I skipped it.

He grossly overate for the entire 30 days. It is not necessarily a realistic portrait as most people don't eat 5-6,000 calories a day. He gorged on McDonald's. They've got a scene where he pulls in to the drive thru to order a shake. Only a shake; nothing else. He ate like a fat pig and started to look like one after a month. He also consumed an incredible quantity of fat which led to the toxification of his liver.
There's another chick doing the McDonald's only thing for a full 60 days at http://www.cei.org/pages/debunk/debunk_the_junk.cfm I think she was overweight to begin with but actually lost weight. Which is not to say I think for a moment that McD's is not toxic crap and addicting as hell. (I just can't stay away from it for long) |
Great movie, I saw it !

BUT I'm thin and in good shape so I'll occasionaly eat fast food like it's no big deal. I completely agree with the movie though. I personaly find it DISGUSTING how most Americans eat. I grew up with an old fashion Italian mom that was a great cook. I always ate good homemade meals and RARELY ate out. I'm not much different now. I'm not a gourmet chef but the handfull of things I do cook I cook well. My favorite food is pasta which is simple as fuck to make. And my favorite sauce is homemade pesto sauce. Make some of that in 10/20 minutes plus a small steak and some salad and presto a nice filling square meal cooked quickly and easily. I premake all my sauce and store it as well to save time. So I'm able to make simple, quick, healthy meals without problems yet 90% of my American friends can't cook for shit and eat unhealthy. If you have metabolism issues and are overweight that ones thing.... but most Americans can't cook for shit, eat packaged/canned food full of crap and preservatives and furthermore eat out all the time including tons of fast food. I enjoy eating and I really enjoy good homemade food. I completely don't understand the concept of "I can't cook so we eat out a lot, and what I do cook at home is all pre-packaged type meals". It's a society thing I don't understand and find it odd. I don't get how most American's prefer eating crappy fast food and getting all obese. I'd much rather eat a good homemade meal any day. Sorry for the long winded post. Just saw that movie last night and I've always found the whole American eating fast wood way of life and getting obese very strange... I love big macks....but I love a good homemade burger much more and can have one ready quicker than it would take me to go to a fast food place. |
It was a good movie but......was a lilttle silly the way he would pig out all the time, he didnt have to have the fattiest shit at MCD every time, he could have had diet coke instead of standard, could have not supersized as many meals etc.. DOnt know about USA but here they have salad stuff you can order, didnt see him order any of that, but maybe they put that stuff on the menu after the movie as a result of it. Damn didnt even get supersize items in Oz (
|
Did he really gorge himself like you guys are making it out?
I thought he only ate like 3 emails a day at normal times. I thought the whole point was to eat normal meals but have it all be McDonalds though? He only supersized like 5 or 6 times total. It said that at the end of the movie... cause the rules were he could only super size when THEY asked. I don't remeber seeing him eat 2 or 3 meals all at once...it always seemed like a normal meal? Am I missing something? |
great documentary :thumbsup

very good movie :)

i saw it too and the thing that was really funny is to see the differences with mcD in the US and mcD here in holland... those huge ass cokes they got what the fuck! i never seen that shit before.... thats really supersized shit. Fucking 2 liter or something was the biggest, who the hell is gonna drink 2 liters of coke at lunch or whatever lol....
and this dudes gf was really a dirty ass hoe.... that vegerian shit is fucking gross they were eating, new age hippies |
