I spend $125 on a wireless super high tech mouse.
I used it once and went back to my good old mouse with a cord and a ball. Its what works best for me.

bangman 03-13-2005 07:51 AM

I got that new Logitech Laser mouse the other day. Working pretty good.

tungsten 03-13-2005 07:52 AM

im still using the microsoft optical mouse.. works fine here

I wanted to buy this mouse as well, I had a choice - that laser mouse or this razer and I have chosen razer.. a little bit better specs than logitech (logittech has only 800 dpi for example)

i see no reason to spend money on a new mouse if mine is still working fine.

the cable isnt irratating me.
and cleaning the mouse every month isnt that difficult.

i will stay with this one until i upgrad my computer and the slot changes or they invent a mouse that undresses women when i move my courser over them

FunForOne 03-13-2005 07:56 AM

as long as you got your keyboard

FreakinWebmaster 03-13-2005 07:58 AM

This is the mouse I just bought:

http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US...6842919_sa.jpg

Has Volume and skip controls right on it. So I can turn up or skip songs up to 10 feet away from my puter. Wireless is the only way to go! :) And the blue lights that lite up is a cool bonus.

LoL I hope not the mat was almost the same price as the Mouse!

Sosa 03-13-2005 08:18 AM

those are some nice mice I have heard. I just run a normal optical M$ one and a MX700 logitech on my other computer.

mardigras 03-13-2005 08:21 AM

I always have a pet around, on or under me when working... no way I could go back to a mouse with a ball :upsidedow
I'm on my 2nd Microsoft optical.

Oh great... Now there are threads about 'buying mouses'? Next time I do my grocery shop I'll start a new thread: "Hey, look what I've just bought! Pasta!"

lol, before the pic loaded I thought you were talking about some super high speed film scanner or something similar...

Why the hell would a mouse need to detect 40 inches of movement in a second? :upsidedow

<-- still using cheapie microsoft wired optical

Yep. Same here. I've had it for a good 3-4 years, and works like a dream compared to ball mouses I used to have to deal with at work.

:thumbsup
