For those of you who said it couldn't be done...
 

Recently I told everyone that I had been shown DVD quality Movies that are Full Screen and work on dial up.

Some ppl argued that it couldn't be done, and even though I argued that I had seen it with my own eyes ( i watched the Matrix and it looked better than on my DVD)they told me I had been shown a movie off a hard drive

well just to prove it once and for all - the guy who developed some new way to compress it and do this has just launched his site - so If you don't believe me check it for yourself:

this started about 2 months ago - I sae these moviesthey were fullscreen and work on dial up - but hepad of ppl told me you cannot have a fullscreen movie on a dial up connection any way i just wanted to show you that it can be done

But the quality really sucks.

How can the movie that you watched on your computer have a better quality than the DVD if it was copied from the DVD?

That shit head probed one of my ports.

Actually the quality of the streaming movies on that site is much better than most packages I have reviewed... it's pretty sharp on broadband connection... but 10% for signups webmaster program...? LOL LOL LOL

I doN't see anything special over there kitty, some divx are just twice as good...

A fullscreen movie at DVD quality streaming on a dial-up is just impossible.
If you want good quality the size is atleast 500meg per hour of movie.
That's about 140KBytes/s if you want it streaming.
With a dial-up connection you should be happy if you get 5KBytes/s.

I went to that site and checked the quality of the clip.

Sorry to kitty it was CRAP go to http://www.divx-digest.com/movies/pitchblack.html and download the trailer. It is encoded too and the quality is better 10 fold. Yes it played smoothly but the quality was a 7/10...
