I am wondering if it is child porn that an erotic story or fiction has minors involved in sexual act. I saw quite several story sites list stories about girls/boys between 14-18, or 12-14, or even younger than 12.

And what about drawings and illustrations? Is it legal to display the paints having someone looking younger than 18 or 14? If you can, please show me some legal references for why they are or are not child porn and legal. Thank you very much.

Without getting into my views on the morals of the topic to answer your question it is my belief that it is not illegal, at least in the United States, to have stories that contain these topics. In fact most authors will argue their freedom of speach rights on this topic.

I am not sure on artwork/illustrations etc but I would think that would be more of a no but I do not know.

There are actually a number of instances of well known authors stories that contain (maybe not quite as graphically depicted as some stories found on the web) these types of topics in their works.

The argument I have been given mostly is "would it be right or allowable to film someone being murdered - no; but I can right a book about it - no problem".

This is not my personal opinion simply my view on the current legal situation.

Regardless of legal or not, That should be turned in and the assholes outa be arrested, isnt there enough porn on here without resulting to kiddie stuff, and if they are creating the stories I hate to see what they are really doing, dont you think they need to be reported and investigated? Regardless of what is 'sick' and 'morally wrong' (cos of course it's ok to anally rape an 18 year old cos she 'signed a consent form') it is illegal to own, download or display any image of minors (<18) in the UK....and probably the rest of western civilization.

Another member of this board ( they can say who they are if they want) was reviewing their listings and some bastard had changed the site - he got caught in a Kiddie Porn Circle Jerk ... so he spent about 2 hours goung to all the sites and listing their URL's and immediately sent them off to ASACP.
I stongly suggest that you do the same if you come across any of these sites.

I know it's disturbing to have to even look at them - but the only way to stop these fuckers is to find out who they are and report them.

Murdering people is wrong, so should there be no movies/books/illustrations about people being murdered? You guys are mixing reality with fantasy. Fiction about teen sex is not in any way related to child porn. It's just fantasy. You start punishing people for their fantasies, you might as well go about trying to censor dreams.

I agree with you man, however there is a big difference between violence and child pornography. Violence has become accepted in today's society as a part of life. There is no shock value. Unfortunately, people will never be as open minded about sex. Whether it's a fantasy or reality doesn't matter. You add a child to a violent situation and it changes peoples emotions and views. Children are supposed to innocent and protected. They are unable to care for themselves, we are their protector.
