I always felt that white backgrounds were the most ideal.
white = hope, purity, trust
black = bad, evil, don't trust

Anyway, I noticed the first design is similar to the co-branded page. Looks good

I am making a feature where customers can set their color preferences

I like colours. Pink, for example. Pink is a great colour.

The layout is nice and simple, but to be honest, the grey buttons are rudimentary at best.
