"Jetsgo Ceases Operations
MONTREAL, March 11 /CNW/ - Jetsgo Corporation announced today that it is
ceasing all operations effective immediately.

Passengers are advised to make alternative travel arrangements prior to going to the airport as there will be no Jetsgo staff or aircraft available. Travellers seeking to return to their point of origin must make alternative arrangements with other airlines or with their travel agent or tour operator. Jetsgo will be asking that the Quebec Superior Court immediately grant it protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. Court protection will allow Jetsgo to consider all options available to reorganize its affairs. Given difficult market conditions resulting from competitive pressures in the Canadian airline industry, Jetsgo has determined that, in the circumstances, it is prudent and responsible to discontinue its operations and ground all of its planes.

Michel Leblanc, President of Jetsgo, said: "We deeply regret that this had to happen. The decision to cease operations was only taken after difficult deliberation. We are very concerned about our customers and the significant hardship that this action causes. In the meantime, we encourage our passengers to contact their travel agent or an alternative airline.""

Imagine the ones who are away from home and learned yesterday morning that they don't have back flight anymore... Man that company sucks.. I am so not surprised...

I was flying with them to vegas Internext this year... 2 hours delay in Quebec, me and JFK had another 2 hours delay in Toronto.. PLUS They have lost my luggages for 4 complete days... I got my stuff back on late Thursday night...

They were rated the worst in service in Canada among other things. Every airline that guy has owned has gone under and shafted people.

It was a shitty airline and they picked a shitty way to shut down , no warning just screwing the general public.
This is the same guy that ran canada 3000 into the ground.

Sorry for the people who got Fucked...........I swore after the last time they fucked me around I would not fly with them again, they deserve to go down.......absolutely shit service. The last time 2 union stewarts on 2 different flight crews squabbled about working hours, leaving about 400 passengers cooling their heels :321GFY :321GFY

Budget airline ....budget service.....l have never flown on a cheap low cost airline....yea l like to save cash but when it comes to me having to fly l,d rather not go for the wal mart style version. :1orglaugh
