How come all the taxi's in Amsterdam are Mercedes?
 

how do cab drivers afford to drive them? Isnt that expensive for a cab driver to repair a mercedes than a much cheaper car?

Its like that in alot of places. I went to the Islands of Cape Verde 2 years ago and it was the same thing.

nah no clue, they can deduct the expenses from the taxes anyway, and it looks nice, probably gives clients a better feeling

thats true, cheap benzo's are only sold overseas because they will cheapen the brand here in the states. I did see leather seats in the ones I was in.....but they were covered in plastic :1orglaugh

It costs a shit load to import them in the US. Take that off the top and strip em down and they arent that expensive

over here you see benz , but the dudes driving the cabs don't own them ,the cab company does
