How 2 get premiere to recognize .rm files
I've never really worked with real media files and I have some video clips that I wanted to use but when I try to open them in my premiere they dont show up; not even with "All Format Types" selected. Is there a plugin I need or can you not edit rm files in premiere.

I don't think you can edit rm files.

you can read something usefull from here:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/convert.htm ------------------ Knight Rider, a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist. Michael Knight, a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law. |
You need to convert it to .avi using tinra.exe . Just search for "tinra.exe"
because its an illegal program you will have to hunt for. |
Thanks for the posts people. I had already downloaded tinra but the files it churns out are huge. I'll have to keep looking for something or just give up for now on editing the rm files I have. Thanks again though
