Question for free host owners
 

OK guys... I'm looking for a host for all my galleries (1,000+) to list on all my TGP's. This is not for submitting to other TGP's so I'm not concerned about what you advertise or how you do it, I'm just looking for the best host that will NEVER 404 and ALWAYS run fast.

Just so you understand, I run a handful of TGP's (approx. 100K total a day) and I will be listing all my galleries on all these TGP's.... and no place else.

My only special needs are a lot of disk space with over 1,000 galleries.

Well... I know I said I don't care what you promote but with a header that pushes "the napster of porn" telling surfers how to get into paysites for free... I don't think a gallery on that host will make many sales.

spacedog... I'm not too sure about noheaders. They seem like a good one but this is a very big project for me and will require a lot of work and a lot of trust. I really need someone who has been around a while and has a good track record. I can't imagine noheaders will always have that same ad. One simple link to Internet Eraser can't possibly support a free host for long.


Any others..??? I know there's a lot of you guys on this board.

I have to wonder, why are you looking for a free host and not a paid host? Wouldn't you make more money if your galleries were to contain only your ads and not your hosts?

I already have paid hosts. In fact I have 3 boxes with 1 just for galleries I submit to the large TGP's. I'm just looking to ease up the load on that box so I can submit more without getting a larger BW bill. I already pay over 4k a month for my hosting and would like to shrink that bill a bit. I list my own galleries once in a while on my tgp2 using freefasthost.com and I get pretty good sales...

I also know of a well known tgp that uses my freehost for their galleries (similar to what you're planning on doing) and it looks like he's making off them or I think he would've switched hosts by now.

But as you said before, if you don't think your galleries will convert using it, then don't.

send an e-mail to the webmasters on both sites with what you want. I managed to talk globalporn into letting me beta test cgi scripts their site for a couple months so they try to work with people and I have never hear of them doing 404's to anyones sites.

Truth, we use the subdomain http://sex.globalporn.net for the freehost. I simply forgot to add a refresh to that other page when I updated the layout.

That's a good choice, looks like more & more TGP webmasters are doing it.

We have one doing this that uses about 100GB/day of bw and 300mb of disk space without problems.

Otherwise your best bet is to go with one of the other big freehosts out there. My advice is to not go with a freehost that has only 1 server, because you never know if they're serious or not, and if they'll be able to handle the additionnal load.

Its sounds like you will need a host that will give you a fair bit of room and be able to work with. Most of the huge stables ones wont give you much help. Give Wisdom a try Im sure he should fill your needs

Yes i do have a Freehost and it has been around longer then 90% of all the other freehosts out now a days and i have not and do not plan on taking my hosts down
