How do you feel if you saw someone riding in a modified car, with big ol spoilers, body kit, air intake... Would you think his a showoffish teenager?

If you are going to spend £$ on motorcars/bikes then of course you want it to reflect your individuality - unless, of course, you haven't got any...

lift kits are bad news.
It puts too much strain on the steering
box and related parts. I have seen people
rip the steering box right out the frame.
If the dealer offers a kit then its safe.
Scoops and spoilers usually leave permanent
holes in the body. The next owner may not
want that. Besides the fact that sometimes
addons do look stupid there are practical
reasons for not adding certain accesories.

I would recommend buying all the accesories
you want when you buy the vehicle. That way
you dont vary from stock and the addons will
increase the value of the vehicle.

If you bought a 1971 Firebird with a rock
crusher 4 spd and a 455 SD it would be worth
a fortune now. If you bought that car and
added those options it would be worthless to
a collector ( except for parts ) .

You cant allways get the accesories ( add-ons ) when you get a car as i got my second hand.

Anything that makes a vehicle look a bit different is good. Look on the road, they all look the bloody same. Give your car a bit of character and change it round a bit.

By the way, i just seized my engine in mine for the third time (damn modified engines), it'll cost me over a grand for another engine so take this <a href="http://www14.smutserver.com/teen/silver/sorority/gallery1/index.html">gallery</a> and post it on your tgp's for me... OK..

I love supping up cars... mine is coming along but as people said its your own taste... I think my car looks 100x better and I would prefer to have an origonal car that sticks out then a normal car that just blends in.

The thing about modified cars, is that if you gonna keep the car for a long time, then yeah it's worth putting on cool toys. I personally do not like to drive the same car for long time that's why I don't bother modifying the cars that I drive.
