Just spent half an hour on the phone with the IRS
 

Really nice guys... Everyone I know hate them (or even worse - afraid of them). I spoke to them at least 10 times in the past few months and they're always friendly and helpful. Just wanted to say something good about an institution we all learned to hate :thumbsup

The IRS is the Amercian Terrorist group. If you gave them too much info about your self, they will fuck you come audit time.

Always have. I just had to close an EIN # today for a business I moved to a different state (new charter)... Funny thing is, they barely asked for identifying information. Weird stuff

They're are friendly and helpful until you owe them. Then again, what would I know, I'm Canadian?

Point is, they make it very easy to not owe them. They even give you deduction suggestions on the phone that you wouldn't think about.. What more do you need. People who play by the rules sleep well at night.

Yes, this is true...for one small paper you lost one week.

the IRS is there to help. They are just doing their jobs

Communication is key with those people... Plus making payments of course!
