The future is bright my bretherin
Each of us is analyzing the market and adapts to the changes....<insert epic article here>
Ok, Cliff's notes of what I want to say: a) Windows XP Multimedia Center will launch on the market lots of HomeTheater PCs, so, the PC will integrate more and more in the living room, so it won't die out or be the focused only on the tech croud. Yes people, average Joe will be accustomed to the PC as he is to the phone. b) Wireless connection between the home entertainment devices will blossom, devices like receivers that wirelessly connect to the speakers are already spreading among the consumers. In 10 year time, the focus will be on connecting devices like heat owens, water boilers and other risky devices to a central unit that will prevent hazards. The computers will be more and more integrated into the homes. c) Cable TV/Internet infrastructure will spread rapidly after the HTPCs take over the homes. The % of people online will raise in the next couple of years. d) Live cam networks, video blogging, video reviews, video articles will inrease in popularity. Sites that will be able to integrate everything and are able to synchronize the HTPC with the mobile devices as Cell phones and PDAs, will be banking. You all know this. I just wanted to point out the influence that "Windows XP Multimedia Center 2005" will have on the market! |
Well, you mean the impact it will have both in vulnerabilities, endless upgrades, patches, and the ocassional use.
