I took a week long vacation in Ireland and realized...
 

That despite traveling to business functions almost monthly in beautiful places, A person in this business needs a week or 2 every year in a different country just to relax and excape the computer for a week.

After seeing the country of Ireland, eating good food, mixing with the locals and hitting the pubs, I'm back, refreshed and ready to business hardcore once again!

I'm a fan of signs for some odd reason. When I was an Art major at UNLV, I had a knack for creating spoof signs via Illustrator. I've lost all creativity since! :1orglaugh

Doesn't show it on the pics, but these cars are smaller than mini coopers! They made my 350z look like a fucking SUV!

Just the mix of country, city and the fact that I got to visit the country that my family originated from made it great. I forgot that not all trips consisted of open bars, naked women and free dinners. :1orglaugh

oh and the accent kicks ass even if it's hella hard to understand sometimes...

Funny you ask that. I had heard that only 4% of Irish people have red hair. This is FAR from true. I'd say that 50% of the individuals I saw were redheaded with freckles...Like my mom. My hair is only a little orange, so I only somewhat fit in.

As far as the accent, you are right. I love it! After the week, I even found myself slipping into their tones and pronounciations at times. :1orglaugh

That all looks so familiar. Looks like the Atlantic Ocean area that travels along the ring of Kerry. I forgot what town it was, as we traveled through the ENTIRE country. Beautiful nonetheless.

I do remember hearing that the 3 islands in the ocean are referred to as the calf, the Cow and the Bull. There is also a statue of Mother Ireland near there with her arms ourstretched. Is this the same area?

You must have got lost often if you think Cork is in the West part of Ireland :winkwink: Galway is West, Cork is South.

BINGO! I thought so. I just didn't want to name the wrong place and look like an ass. Here is the statue I was talking about. I loved Cork. I ate at a pub there that had the best Fish and Chips I'd ever eaten. Tasted even better when I chased it down with a good ol' black and tan!
