How about offering webmasters tools they can use to boost promotion of your program in addition to or instead of cash prizes?

i.e.
Submitter software
Graphics software
Computer hardware
Site management software
FTP programs
Prepaid hosting
Domain names

That would be a good thing, but I would add Gallery Spots to that list, and traffic

I already have most of that... hosting, content, domains out the wazoo... but there are a lot of people who don't.

What else could you use? Any scripts/software you've been wishing for?

Most legit and hardworking WM's have all that, but a good idea nonetheless.

We've tried that, but no one was really interested. I will however see if we can put something together that involves my favorite tool, StatsRemote :)

Free traffic to promote them is good.
