Revshare with 2 crossales! What is your opinion?
 

I just joined a revshare program. They payout 50% on "clean" links and 60% on popup links.

I checked out the console free tour, and noticed they have 2 crossales, both rebilling at 40USD a month. In other words, they "can" make 80 USD a month EXTRA from me, and I get 50% of 29USD...

What do you think? I skipped them

i would skip them too. Unless we talk for the same sponsor, it's not the only one.....

Well the link might be 60%. However, even when you have CONSOLE FREE links(I thought this one was) you get these TWO crossales value 80 USD a month. Would be nicer when clean(50%) no cros sales and popups and 60% cros sales and popups.

I do see the point, it's about the upsells, they make $15 a pop and only get 50/60 percentage of the signup/rebills.

But what has multiply site access to do with the cross sales?

Last I checked, Skin Traffic and Naughty America do the same thing. I can understand that they want more money, but if they're trying to squeeze out more cash like that than they should start paying out PPS. Of course I don't have any hard facts, but based on "theory", cross-sells probably cut into retention, which is what I depend on with rev-share programs.

So I don't agree with you being pissed off just because they make "more money". And by the way, they don't have a chance at making $80 per member you send. Odds are they sell those for $15-18 a pop and 10-20% of joins will leave the boxes checked. Why do you guys think trials really exist?

Its also humorous how so many of you haven't noticed this before. Have you ever tried joining or investigating the sponsors you promote?

I know I would type in each and any of those URLs to see what's included in the deal. Simple site names and/or screenshots, better yet: the site names linked with the webmasters code would have been the right thing to do
