Any Boston webmasters want to get together?
 

Its seems Boston is the only area in the country that hasn't had any webmasters meeting together. It'd be great to meet some other people in the biz and make contacts. Anyone else interested in this? I am.

There's a small bar at Rowe's Wharf which is cozy. There's also Chinatown which has awesome food, and of course, the North End for Italian food fanatics. If you want to get out of the city, may I suggest a night on the town in Newport, RI.

China Town is good if you don't mind being surrounded by Crack Heads, Theifs and Scum bag crack dealers. Stay clear of that area at all cost, SHIT HOLE.

When is the last time you were in China Town?

I used to live on Lincoln St. and it is 1 block away from China town. I lived in a penthouse loft that is close to 1 million dollars. There are tons of units all over that neighborhood that make my place look like a shit hole too. Not to mention that the ritz has residental towers and another huge residental tower is moving in as we speak. I agree combat zone/China town used to be a scary place but that was years ago. It really is shocking to see how much it has turned around.

Bro, take a walk to the corner of Kneeland and Tremont (Theater District) and go into the corner store between 11pm and 2am any night of the week. It's crawling with crackheads and shit bags. I got robbed there at knife point 8 weeks ago. Granted I shouldnt have been wearing a platinum chain but I too thought it was safe. You might say that corner is not Chinatown but its close enough and Chinatown is just as bad with drug addicts who will rob you blind.

Yes Chinatown is getting cleaned up. I sold commercial real estate there and luxury condos like yours for 5 years, up until 2000 when they were working on the Melenium building. I'd much rather live down on the other side where the Ritz, Marlborough St, Beacon, Comm ave are. Safe over there.
