When the registrar locks your domain
what can you do about it? godaddy locked a domain I bought because of bad whois info, I updated that 1 week ago and it's still locked, they wont answer my emails and they wont unlock it. What the fuck do I do know? I lost most of the traffic, I'm sure, but I still want it back. Can I move it to another registrar and fix it that way?

I've had the problem with godaddy before, have you tried calling them?
|
if it's locked, you can't just move it.
I dunno, if you can't contact them.. you're hooped. |
godaddy has some really screwed up policies, good luck getting your domain back!

GoDaddy are brutal... good luck! They'll probably recommend you get a lawyer as usual.

That domain cost me $600... I made it back in the next couple of days, but it's still not funny.

It was said before and I say it now: godaddy sucks

You usually get what you pay for. If your domain name is worth anything over the registration fee it might be prudent to spend a few extra bucks to use a registrar with a functioning support department. |
and that's exactly why I register my domains @ Moniker.com :upsidedow
