The trouble with Russians
 

Today I was checking my stats and I had two transactions cancelled because they were fradulent and one chargeback. ALL THREE were from Russia. Anyone else see the same thing happening with their sales? Should I just give up on the whole country and ban them?

A mate of mine was checking out some of the sites he had listed yesterdayand there was one from some fuckig Rusian who had changed the site a couoke od days later - he got caught in a Kiddie porn Circle Jerk and it took over his whole computer!!
He reported them and then had to reinstall windows

OK I have nothing against Russians...

But it seems like every time someone fucks with my website -- it's always connected to Russians... I even have a file on my server "Russia.log" :(

Sorry, upon reading that it makes it sound like I have some kind of problem with Russians. I don't at all. I am actually quite good friends with the head honcho of Russian Submitter. He's a real quality individual. I trust him more than I trust a lot of Americans.

Now that I look back on all of my frauds, it seems that almost half are Russian in origin! Maybe 15-20% are from the US and Canada. The rest seem to be a mix of the UK, Germany, The Netherlands and everyone else.

I also don't have ANY legit Russian customers. Not one. If there are some, they aren't using a .ru email address or a Russian mailing address. I think maybe it is time to ban the whole country. Does anyone here have a considerable number of real Russian customers?

Hate to say it but processors should almost never approve sales from this and similar countries. With chargeback thresholds as they are from Visa/MC it's a no brainer.
