I can't sleep too, don't know why, it really sucks :(

I was having problems sleeping. I picked up a DVD that has all kinds of different yoga exercises. Thereīs a section in it to do right before you to go bed, it relaxes you and helps you sleep. That cured my problem!

Most of the time when people have problems sleeping, itīs due to stress or worries, so doing something thatīll relax your mind will always help!

Few drinks and read a book........normally makes the eyes droop!

Dina_C9 03-07-2005 03:37 PM

Try warm milk (it is true what they say). It has tryptophan that cause drowsiness. If you go to a pharmacy, all the sleeping pills are the same just different brands. Try at least 50mg of diphenhydramine!

tungsten 03-07-2005 04:55 PM

i tried all of that shit, i just took a drive to a local CVS, i saw no sleeping pills, im guessing all of them are prescription based?

flashfire 03-07-2005 04:57 PM

I share this problem...havent found anything that works as of yet

James White 03-07-2005 04:57 PM

Do not get sleeping pills, cause they form an addiction.. it makes you unable to sleep without the pills.

get you this... Melatonin, its a herb. You can pick it up at CVS as well, do not take more than 300mcgm (micrograms) a night. Take it, keep all lights off, you'll be out in real nice and quick.

tungsten 03-07-2005 05:17 PM

Last night i didn't even fall asleep at all.

I have never been like this. Went to bed at 3am, stayed awake till 10am, then decided 'fuck it' might aswell get up now.

Sucks... :(

swedguy 03-07-2005 07:07 PM

If you drink coffee, stop.

I've been drinking coffee for the last 15 years. Last year or so I've had problem falling asleep and when I fell asleep I didn't sleep very well. 2 weeks ago I found some good tea so I stopped drinking coffee, a week later I just thought about that I had slept really well. So I tried drinking coffee for a day, slept like crap again. So now I'm only drinking tea and I sleep much better :)

sickkittens 03-07-2005 07:10 PM

If it's that bad, see a doctor. :2 cents:

PlugRush Sascha 03-07-2005 07:12 PM

Go for a 30 minute jog before you go to sleep.

wargames 03-07-2005 07:25 PM

Try drinking warm milk.

Melatonin is the hormone that makes you have a correct sleep schedule. It is just a herbal supplement.

Use it for a couple nights on a REGULAR sleep schedule... like between 10-11 each night for 5 nights.. the next week typically you can sleep correctly without it.

Lots of Valium and Soma = sleep like a baby and a wet bed in the morning.

Mr Pheer 03-08-2005 02:55 PM

I used to have sleep problems all the time, but not anymore.

I started going to bed around 10 or 11pm and getting up at like 7 or 8am

When I go to bed, I dont care if the servers are down, sponsors are down or anything. All my traffic goes to recurring type sponsors now, so a few hours of downtime wont even be noticable. If shit is broke, I can fix it in the morning.

Been doing this for three weeks now, and I feel better overall. Not always tired and grouchy anymore.
