He's right. It might rain for an hour in mid afternoon like it does in S. Florida, but its a nice steady rain and very short lived. No need to prepare. I was there for a week last year at the show and it rained one afternoon for about 90 minutes. Was a warm rain though. I would take a light jacket or your GFY hoodie for late nights at the beach or if you get chilly. But to me, it really was paradise. Don't worry about the rain, it's rained for maybe 6 hours for the entire 3 weeks I've been there. As for the clubs, decent clothes are needed although not necessary. I'd just wear a pair of jeans and a nice polo out at night (and well into the morning!)#27024067Comment

During the day, you're never more than 15 minutes from being in the water.
So, let that guide your day-time wardrobe choices.
But, at night, the ladies will certainly want to have some slinky/sexy stuff and strappy sandals to throw on.
For the gents, I'd recommend the understated, always appropriate-in-warm-weather casual-neatness of linen.
FYI: It's supposed to rain from Thursday to Saturday.
