We make a ton off of Lars' program. He stats update at the end of the day so don't pull the plug too early.

Programs with cams take time to convert from free to paid. The guys have to find a girl they fall for first and then once she hooks them they'll whip out the cc.

I've found the GEO IP banners/iFrames, etc. work better with dating sites like AAC, but Lars says his are doing great - so I'm sure he is. The problem, IMO, is the banner suggests you can video chat with "girls in your area" but once on Cams.com you quickly find out that none are - or at least they don't show who is (the Who's Online page just shows a big group of chat rooms).

Whereas with dating sites, you can go directly to a woman's profile from the banner who really is in your area. Me thinks that has better potential to lead to a sale.

I stick mostly to snapshots of performers and link to the Who's Online page - draw them in with a sexy/hot babe and let them find another (assuming she's not online).

I agree with all your points. I dont understandthe way people advertise geo ads like this. Its like i am Joe Sufer online bouncing around and i come across a page that shows 6 hot chicks and it says they are all from my town!! WOW I must be the luckiest bastard in the world, all 6 of them from my area, what are the ods, of all the towns in the US and the world. all 6 ofthe girls are from my town (image if it's a small town too) LMAO.. i have a better chance winning the lottery and getting struck by ligtening all in the same day then this happening.

For personals, its not as bad when you say "find all the girls in "_yourtown_".

Geo ads I feel have a lot more potential and i think i just developed a way to better use them...

key is... make it more believable... people aren't that stupid andthe ones that are will figure it out soon enough.

Exactly, and with GEO ads turning up all over the place now, they are going to be abused and so overexposed that no one will click on them anymore. At first, it's a novelty but like you said - soon they will figure it out.

l make a steady $400-$500 a month and have done for a few years with Lars/streamray,using the co-branded option.I opted for the 20 percent rather than the per sign up,and I,m more than happy for the small amount of traffic I send.

yes of course, Lars's program is BANK

even if there were girls from your area on a cam a lot of time with cam sites (not sure which ones do this but i know some do) allow the girls to block certain areas, usually their hometowns or whatever so that people they know can't see them. so geo ads are pointless then.

they payout every $50 but i got a check once for $30 so u figure that one out lol

i dont do well with cams or dating so im the wrong person to get a good answer from.
