Cheapest place to buy domains nowadays?
Where is the cheapest place to buy domains nowadays?
Whats the deal with Yahoo and thier 4.98 domains..whats the catch Just curious |
|
You can get them at enom for 6.50 but you need to deposit a few hundred domain $$ worth.
Other than that 1and1.com has domains for 5.99 but the interface is HORRIBLE. If you want to pay with Paypal, domainsite.com has domains for 6.50 with an also sucky interface |
no catch (temporary promotion)... as they say.
just sucks managing domains with them! their domain panel blows (IMHO). |
ww.1and1.com is 5.95 .. and you don't even have to buy in bulk
|
didn't realize they were that cheap... will need to check them out for sure. right now i am using ev1servers.net (great backend, easy to manage).
|
I have heard a lot of bad things about GoDaddy...I dont see what the problem is...I like what i have seen so far..someone care to elaborate?

* Can not lock your domains * Poor control panel * Limited support Have fun. :upsidedow |
nothing bad has happened to me, but go search on google.com "godaddy sucks" or something and im sure it will come up with some shit.
there is a con or downfall to every good service |
I own 14,000+ domains and I have used most major registrars.
My favorite is Moniker. They have the best security, the best support, and the best pricing. |
www.ev1servers.net is another cheap alternative.
|
namecheap.com has .info's for $3 and free whois gaurd on all domains
|
namecheap rocks!
|
I'm so glad that domains are no longer $70 like they used to be
|
I don't think Namecheap is so wonderful. They make transfers difficult, and customer service is not so great --in my opinion.
|
go with directnic, do a search and see what ppl say on here, gd and many other suck, one spoofed email and theyll block your TLD
