Search Engine Strategies Toronto May 4-5, Anyone Going?
 

I haven't been to an SES in a long time and since its coming nearby, I was considering going. Is anyone else attending the Toronto SES coming up early May?

Every since it was established that money can't be made with SEO (See WGs Sig) I have no urge to attend such an event. :winkwink:

WG, is the show generally good for anything other than networking? I've been to a few (local) SE conferences and they were all fluff.

last se convention i went to sucked ass. The guys basically talked about computer hardware, setting up your office, and then talked about adwords. Is this one any different or should i save the money for booze?

After looking at the seminars, there's nobody really speaking that I specifically want to hear from. Nobody from any of the major engines are on the panels so far. I'll wait another 3-4 weeks to see if the TBA's turn out to be anyone good but chances are this would be a networking only event and for that you can get an expo pass for just $25 and save the $970 for all access passes.

I would say not this one. Other SES' have been really good when there's been some key industry players in attendence.
