The Whole World is Against Jackson Sleeping With Little Boys

SANTA MARIA, Calif. (Court TV) ? A team of Michael Jackson's handlers, which included a high-profile lawyer, a gay porn producer and a man with reputed mob ties, appeared to be working against the pop star's interests in the aftermath of a damaging 2003 documentary about Jackson, a witness testified Wednesday. Also Bubbles the Chimp might have been in on it due to a debilitating heroin addiction he was suffering from and a string of bad credit card debts he had run up since that time. There has not been adequate time for Corey Feldman to get in on it since he decided to suddenly turn on Michael in the pathetic hopes that it might bolster his failing Hollywood career. Jackson is reportedly heartbroken over the betrayal of his bestest chimp.

In the tell-all documentary, Jackson had stated that he often shared his bed with children and saw nothing wrong with it. You tell me if you would be willing to let your children go spend the night with Michael Jackson tucking them and a cup of Jesus juice and I'll tell you whether your fit to be a parent.

The testimony of public-relations specialist Ann Gabriel played well into the defense's contention that Jackson was not part of a criminal conspiracy, but that people around him were doing things without his knowledge for their own selfish reasons. The victimization of Jackson, the 46-year-old "King of Pop," whose lifestyle continues to provide fodder for tabloids worldwide, is at the core of the defense at his child-molestation and conspiracy trial. Nonetheless, those of you reading this and thinking it may be the most ridiculous defense you have ever heard of a disgusting pedophile can cluck to yourselves disapprovingly and still be within the boundaries of sanity.

Defense lawyer Thomas Mesereau Jr. turned the testimony of Gabriel, the prosecution's second witness, to his advantage during several hours of cross-examination.

In sometimes excruciating detail, Mesereau explored almost every statement Gabriel made to investigators about the six-day period in February 2003 when she was working as a crisis manager for Jackson's organization. Gabriel never met Jackson but told jurors that her contact with some of the entertainer's media people led her to believe they had a vested interest in letting the tabloids rage on about him and the documentary.

Some of the men, including five unindicted alleged co-conspirators, were profiting from a cut of a "rebuttal video" that Jackson's production company sold to the Fox network for $3 million. One of the men, Marc Schaffel, a gay porn producer, was reportedly getting a cut of the video, Gabriel said. One can only speculate whether or not Bubbles was on the take for the vid scam as well, but credible sounding allegations have been asserted that link Bubbles to Jeff Gannon back as early as 2001.

Prosecutors contend that a 13-year-old boy now accusing Jackson of molestation was held against his will at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch until he and his family agreed to participate in the rebuttal video, which they did.

The indictment alleges that the molestation occurred after the rebuttal video was produced.

The indictment charges that, with Jackson's knowledge and approval, Schaffel, Frank Tyson, Vincent Amen, Dieter Wiesner and Ronald Konitzer conspired to keep the accuser and his family under wraps and then fly them off to Brazil until the media feeding frenzy over Martin Bashir's "Living with Michael Jackson" documentary subsided.

Bashir is Swahili for "the truth is uglier than your cosmetic surgery."

Gabriel testified that she was taken aback when David LeGrand, a lawyer on Jackson's payroll, called to express concern that the accuser and his family had left the ranch unnoticed. Told later that the "situation was taken care of," Gabriel said her surprise turned to concern.

"I said, 'Don't let me believe those people were hunted down like dogs and dragged back to the ranch,'" Gabriel recalled.

Gabriel, who worked for Jackson from Feb. 9 through Feb. 15, 2003, said she believes she was fired the day after receiving a $10,000 retainer because she was working proactively as a publicist while the men closest to Jackson seemed prepared to do nothing about the revelations that Jackson sometimes shared beds with children not related to him.

Mark Geragos, a high-profile lawyer who for a time represented both Jackson and Scott Peterson, is a fucking scumbag who'll do anything for a buck called a tabloid television show and demanded that Gabriel not be allowed to appear on air, as scheduled, she said. Geragos then wanted her to sign a confidentiality agreement that indicated she was working as a private investigator. She refused.

"I believe it was designed to shut me up," Gabriel said.

Even after her termination, Gabriel said she stayed in touch with LeGrand, whom she had formerly dated. LeGrand confided to her that the entertainer's media handlers had gotten what they wanted for their rebuttal video from the accuser's mother.

"He said they no longer had to worry about [the mother]. They had her on tape and they were going to make her look life a crack whore," Gabriel testified.

Scholars and media pundits alike were quick to point out that never before in legal history has the term "crack whore" surfaced in a criminal trial testimony in the first three days. Guinness could not be reached for comment but sources close to the Book of World records suggest that the incident has been noted and will be logged into the famous book.

Mesereau objected to much of Gabriel's direct testimony. He lost almost every objection, but Judge Rodney Melville cautioned jurors that the testimony is only to be considered if they conclude later that a criminal conspiracy existed.

Later, during cross-examination, the judge admonished Mesereau for asking Gabriel to repeat her testimony several times. He also asked her to take off her bra and yodel Yankie Doodle Dandy while making the tassels at the end of her nipples spin in opposite directions for the entertainment of the jury. Just kidding, but now that image is going to be stuck in your head all day.

"Mr. Mesereau, I want to ask you to look at the jury and realize they are tired of hearing this," Melville scolded. "You asked that same question 10 times today. You need to grasp the evidence and not keep repeating it." Mesereau asked four or five more quick questions and sat down. Some say he wept that night at the knowledge that he lived in such a cruel world that would not allow him the 11th question. Warner Brothers may or may not be making a straight to video movie called the 11th question even as we speak. :1orglaugh
